You tried to save a chicken?

On December 10, 1998, a chicken crossed the road in Cuba and changed my life forever. I was diagnosed with a C-7 incomplete spinal cord injury. Since that day I have trained hard and fought for mobility. With the support of family and friends, I have gone from catastrophe to conquest to a fulfilling life without boundaries.

I want to make that transition possible to anyone who is injured. My wife and I have created a 10 Point Program that is designed to help guide you through the first process: tragedy to recovery. We know that this is the most important and the most difficult time to understand, and we want you to benefit from what we learned.

Our goal is to reach out, inform, encourage and provide a strong example of what can be accomplished after injury. We firmly believe that there are no victims in the war against the wheelchair, only determined warriors.
